| We
took a couple of day trips to St. Martin, a 20-minute ferry ride to the
south. St. Martin is half French and half Dutch. We toured the
French side, which is supposed to be less crowded and more quaint.
(The cruise ships dock on the Dutch side, flooding that side with day
tourists.) The official currency in Anguilla is the Eastern Caribbean
dollar, but US dollars are welcome. In St. Martin, though, they prefer
French francs.
